By purchasing a product or service from The Canvas Mill you agree to be legally bound by the terms and conditions below. Please read through these carefully before placing an order and print a copy for future reference.
Products, Errors and Ommissions
All the descriptions of goods and services included in the The Canvas Mill website are accurate to the best of our knowledge. We do our best to correct errors or omissions as soon as we are aware of them. You should be aware that the colours and appearances of images on canvas may vary from the way they appear on a screen and that computer monitors vary in colour depending on the calibration. If a proof of an image is emailed to you and approved we cannot then be responsible if the colour on the final canvas differs slightly.
Copyright
All the images and designs used on The Canvas Mill website are the property of The Canvas Mill or their respective copyright owners and are used by The Canvas Mill with express authorisation. You must not use, reproduce, modify or distribute images, any part of images or content in any form without prior written authorisation. By supplying us with artwork, you warrant that you have the copyright or licence for that image or the written permission of the copyright owner to use the photograph. Under no circumstances will The Canvas Mill be responsible for any copyright issues arising as a result of you, the customer, supplying us with any image or artwork in breach of copyright.
Right to refuse
The Canvas Mill holds the right to refuse work which is deemed of very low quality or in contradiction with our business morals and principles. This may include but is not limited to: poor artwork, immoral or illegal materials.
Prices
The Canvas Mill reserve the right to alter prices without notice.
Cancellations
The Canvas Mill cannot cancel works which have been initiated and paid for.
Returns Policy
Due to the bespoke nature of our artworks, items that are delivered as described and in good condition may not be returned but damaged items will be exchanged free of charge. All our canvas prints are checked for quality before they are dispatched but if the goods received are faulty or have been damaged during transit, and are therefore not fit for purpose, you must return them to us, including the packaging, within seven days of receipt to make an exchange.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the goods are returned to us safely and in their entirety including the packaging. Please contact us immediately to inform us of any damage and of any goods being returned. If the goods are not faulty or damaged or the original packaging is missing then we cannot make a refund.
The Canvas Mill will not exchange any goods if the customer is dissatisfied with the image chosen. The customer is responsible for checking and approving any artwork or image manipulation done by The Canvas Mill. Once a proof has been approved and printed The Canvas Mill will not reprint an image unless it is faulty or damaged as described above.
Delivery
We aim to delivery your order as quickly as possible. However we use external couriers and we do not have control over them or any acts of nature. If a delivery is late due to your location, accidents or local disruptions The Canvas Mill will not be liable for any consequential loss. Please ensure that you check your delivery before signing for it. The Canvas Mill will not accept liability for missing or damaged items unless this is brought to the attention of the delivery company.
Please do not sign for your goods until you have physically checked them and are satisfied that they are in perfect condition. Faulty or damaged goods: You must check goods on delivery. In cases of damaged of faulty goods, this fact must be communicated to the delivery company at time of delivery. You should then notify The Canvas Mill immediately and return the goods and packaging to us for an exchange (please see Returns policy).
Privacy Policy
You have our commitment that your images will not be put into the public domain, unless by prior consent and with your permission.
When you place an order with the Canvas Mill we will need to take your name, delivery and billing address, credit or debit card number and expiry date, email address and telephone number. This information is for the purpose of delivering your order and to notify you of the status of your order.
Your personal information will be kept strictly confidential. It is never sold, given away or shared with anyone. Only carefully selected, authorised personnel have access (for customer service and abuse monitoring purposes) to view system accounts.
We may occasionally email you with special offers and new services to the site. If you receive these, you will have the opportunity to unsubscribe yourself from any further messages on the email you have received. When you use your credit card to place an order with The Canvas Mill, you will naturally be receiving an email receipt for your purchase. To protect your information, our credit card processing vendor uses the latest secure transaction technology, and is compliant with card association security initiatives.
